About me
Dr. Browne holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Seton Hall University and has over 25 years of school leadership experience. She is a retired Superintendent and currently serves as a mentor for doctoral candidates. Currently, Dr. Browne serves as a Program Coordinator for the University of Delaware in the Graduate College, Division of Professional & Continuing Studies. She has also served as an adjunct professor at Seton Hall University, William Patteson University, the College of St. Elizabeth, the Delaware Technical Community College.
Prior to her role in higher education, she had a 26-year career in K-12 public schools where she served in a variety of positions including classroom teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal, and superintendent. She has worked as a public sector educator in Virginia and New Jersey. In addition to her public school positions, Dr. Browne served as President of the New Jersey Superintendents Study Council, Chairperson of the Women's Leadership Initiative for the New Jersey Association of School Administrators, and President of the Gifted Child Society.
